Jarharis Sutherland has been transported through time with his brothers and a witch. Wearing the amulet he took from a witch ten thousand years ago, Jarharis wants to study the actions of people in the new time in which he now lives.
On his first night in a new city and time, Jarharis is observing people when he is taken with the looks of a young woman. Knowing he needs to feed, he follows the group to a cemetery. When Selena sees the shadowy figure, Jarharis grabs her and flies off with her. Another need is awakened in Jarharis as he holds Selena close; he has to have her. He discovers a silver dagger in Selena’s boot and finds out she is a vampire hunter. Jarharis also finds out he is in another vampire’s territory: Aston‘s. But Aston is a very evil vampire; he is also ruthless and has a huge legion of followers. Aston gives Jarharis a warning. Jarharis can’t stay away from Selena, and when Aston threatens her safety, Jarharis knows Aston needs to die. Jarharis also unlocks the secret of the amulet. Will Jarharis be able to save Selena when Aston attacks her? Will Selena and Jarharis realize they love each other before it’s too late?
The Witch And The Vampire-Jarharis is very entertaining and enjoyable. Fawn Lowery writes an exciting and griping love story between Selena and Jarharis. Jarharis hates his vampirism, but he’s never killed one of his victims. I could almost feel what Jarharis was feeling. Selena is very confident and strong willed and not afraid of anything, the kind of heroine I like reading about. This story has lots of plot twists and turns that kept me guessing and on my toes. I can’t wait to read about the next brother.

I loved the surprise given her and don’t want to give away the ending here. This just makes you want to do the same with a loved one. All Silvia can think about during her abduction is of her husband John and what he will think of her. Fawn Lowery does a wonderful job of letting your imagination work here and also give you a few ideas along the way.
